The ruins where pretty messy, that of course, is why they call them the ruins. I wonder, Sora asked himself. I just wonder what happened to this place... The people! Now, it's just mice scurrying about, squirrels chattering with each other, the wind whispering it's unknown language... He sat down, under a nice and shady piece of old, crumbling cement, and curled into a ball. After a while of laying there, breathing slowly, calmly, eyes shut, he drift off into a different world. The world of his dreams. "Hey there!" A voice called out, and it was familiar... But he couldn't place his tongue on it... "I missed you!" The voice called out. He lifted his head to see another coat of fur, just like his, shining in the sun. His mother! Had she come to check on him... in his dream? "You've gotta wake up! There's a danger out there, and you need to fight it! Maybe, I am just lying and it's food. Ha ha, well, good hunting!" She called. Wait mom! He couldn't speak! Why can't I talk to you? I miss you! But it was to late. His eyes flashed open. I'll do what she said... I can hunt! He told himself.

A lyth, pale golden and black shape sat panting in the shade of the trees not far from the ruins of what once a curious stone creation of Man. Now those vast ruins were being reclaimed by nature with creeping vines and creatures both small and large. Fallen Moon's light golden, spotted pelt was dappled by the sun-high sunlight as she layed belly-down underneath the cool canopy. She had just got done with another chase-down for a meal and came back empty pawed...again. Frustration and disappointment, along with the nagging voidness of an empty stomach and tired limbs, flared in her as she recalled the hunt and the fact that she wasn't fast enough to capture that gazelle on the savannah. Closing her dark, earthy brown eyes as she regained her breath, Fallen Moon recalled the sea of golden grass sweeping her sides, her claws digging into the hard-packed earth as she pulled herself forward, the world becoming nothing but a blurr and she raced after the gazelle with blood pumped with adreniline. Fallen Moon opened her eyes and resumed her sorrowful yet determined stare into the forest, imagining the savannah sun and waving grass that was her home.

A black dotted figure. Another cat. I believe that's a Cheetah, if my mother told me correctly. She looks like the way she described them... their fur coats shining in the sun, black on tan, with tons of black spots for the finishing touch! He recalled. He turned his gaze over to the Cheetah's eyes. "Hello there! Out for a hunt like me?" He yelled to her. He sat down, his head still staring out at the cat, and licked his paws. I must be looking odd... He told himself, But who cares?!

Fallen Moon winced as the loud voice of another creature entered her ears. Already dis-content with someone disturbing her peaceful cool-down, the pale gold cheetah brings her dark stare to the figure that practically yowled right in her sensitive, black spotted ears. But when she saw what the creature was, she stiffened. Standing up quickly, Fallen Moon faced the golden brown and black , muscular cat that sat down and licked his paw as he looked at her with golden eyes. Every muscle in her body tensed in preparation to run as fast as she could out of here and into the depths of the savnnah. Leopard...I should have known. Fallen thought to herself, feeling foolhardy for going into a dense forest with stone ruins and expecting not to be found by a bone-crushing beast such as this. Standing tall and knowing she had a quick escape and advantage, Fallen Moon stared unwaveringly at the leopard that sat before her, comfortably washing himself as if he didn't have a care in the world. "What do you want?" She demanded, not willing to feed into the male leopard's relaxing demenor.

Whenever he tried to be nice, have a chat. Well, they thought he would kill them. "Come on! Why do you guys always do that? I just got bored and I need to chat!" He answered. He climbed back under his rock, and scratched at it. "Another day I sleep here" He whispered as he left a claw mark. He looked at them again, and counted. Fourteen lonely days... They all run away like I'm some monster. He reminded himself. He poked his head out and looked up in the sky. Your up there somewhere mom, I know you are.

"Come on! Why do you guys always do that? I just got bored and I need to chat!" the male practically growled before going back towards the ruins and climbing under a rock. Fallen Moon was dazed. Blinking at the rock where the 'vicious' leopard disappeared to hide away from the world, her tail twitched in confusion and annoyance. "A chat?" Fallen Moon repeated outloud in a growl, again turning to face where her 'rival' hid away. "Since when do leopards decide to have a 'chat' with cheetahs?" Fallen Moon bends her small head down so she can attempt to see into the blackness that sheilded the male leopard under the large stone.

{OCC~ I am gonna quit on the table for a while}
"Well, I get lonely after... What fourteen days alone?!" He yelled in anger. Why do I have to be a leopard... maybe if I was a cheetah she would talk to me... He whined in his head. He came back out and gave the cheetah a look of disgust. Then grunted. "Fine! See if I care." He snapped at her. After that, he had nothing left to do but storm away. So he did. He leaped over fallen structures, he ignored the prey that hid in the cracks and holes in the rocks. He just kept storming on. "Now what?" He asked himself in a low voice.

Fallen Moon leaped back as the leopard crawled out and growled angrily at her. Her look of shock dissolved into disgust and anger as the male went on about how lonely he was before leaping over the rock and starting to fade into the shadows of the ruins. "Fine with me! I'm not the one who's too feather-headed to go out and find some other leopard!" Fallen Moon calls out to the unknown male, tail lashing in anger. Without the need to follow after the depressed leopard, Fallen Moon begins to walk out to the tree-line, eager to get as far away from that irritating leopard and back to the golden sea. She would never understand the makings of that male, or any other species but her own, and she would never have the need to. It was foolish and served no purpose to her, or anyone else, as far as she was concerned. Friendly 'chats' got a predator nowhere and building relationships with those even of the same species was futile, for they crumbled later on. Without a second thought ot look back, Fallen Moon strode into the vast golden savannah and begin once again to search for signs of prey.

"Why does this happen to me... I wish there was another leopard around here..." He muttered to himself in a low voice. He looked back to see the cheetah hunting again. Then it's time for a fight! He told himself. He got himself low and went back where the cheetah was, careful not to make the slightest sound. His tail was held inches from the ground, and body locked in hunting position. Although, this was no mouse or deer. It was another cat. When he got close enough, he thrust his body forward and into the air, claws out and sharp, fangs glistening, and landed on the cheetah's back, ripping his claws at her.

Fallen Moon yowls in shock as the heavy weight of the male leopard lands ontop of her, accompanied by the sharp, stinging pain of claws ripping into her back. Landing on her side, Fallen Moon was no match for the sheer strength of the male leopard, no cheetah was.
I'm built to run, not fight! She thought to herself, scrambling to get out of reach of the male, blood running scarlet rivers through her light golden fur, but his claws kept a firm hold on her, pinning her to the ground as he slashed her sides and back.
Brown eyes wide in fear and shock, glazed over with pain, Fallen Moon desperatly tried to wiggle away, her flailing paws catching nothing but golden and black fur. She saw the eerie glint of the male's fangs as he bared them, ready to go for the neck. Her blood was being to pool around her and her strength was being sapped into the earth. The golden grass around her was splattered with blood. Fallen Moon was sure her death was near....but in one final attempt to be free, she brought back her furry paw, curled her black claws, and slashed them across the male's face, a flash of satisfaction as she felt the rip of skin and fur. In his moment of surprise and weakness, Fallen Moon quickly shot up to her wobbly feet, scarlet designs marking her pelt.
She would be stupid to fight now. The best thing to do would be to run, try to recover from the cuts, and heal. With a last final glare and flash of bared teeth, the golden cheetahess shot across the savannah, scarlet droplets and bloody paws prints marking the path behind her as she left the scene at top speed, knowing the leopard couldnt keep up. Despite the throbbing pain and stinging cuts that were whipped by the grass, she kept running, running, and running across the golden sea.

"Hey! I only did that cause I get upset... and put up a fight next time. I'll be sitting and waiting for a friend to come along! You had your chance, you made me feel bad, and when that happens... I have no control over myself.... I KINDA feel sorry...." His voice went low. "If you need any help healing.." He said. What did I do? He asked himself. "NOW I'LL NEVER HAVE A FRIEND" He screeched at himself. He dug his claws into himself. I'm a mess. He told himself. He fell.

Once she felt she was far enough away and then some, Fallen Moon stopped and sat under one of the trees that dotted the savannah. Tired, bloody, and disturbed, Fallen Moon tried to catch her breath underneath the shade while watching out for any predators that would take the oppertunity to make a meal out of her.
Licking tentivly at the wounds she could reach and grimcing at the iron taste of her own blood, Fallen Moon thought about the male leopard and the attack. What lead him to retaliate in such a violent way? Was it my comment? Fallen Moon asked herself, still shocked and startled by how vicious and unpredictable that once calm and cool leopard had become. Still...why would that lead to such a.....calculated action? He did mention being solitary for 14 sunrises....What a strange male... She thought as she layed beneath the tree, throat sand dry and body sore beyond belief. "Strangely stupid." she growled before once again freeing herself from the clots of blood beginning to dry in the African sun.

Sora screeched louder, but in pain. "Let's end this.. So I can be with my family!" He yelled out into the sky. He dug his claws harder, forcing himself to handle the pain. Blood oozed from him, as he killed himself right there. Then, a figure appeared in front of him. His mother! "Don't do this to yourself!" She yelled. He stopped wide eyed. "Why should I stop?" He asked. "For me. For everyone. For yourself!" She replied. Then, she was gone.

Even though she was miles away, the screech of pain and fury could be heard across the savannah. For some reason, Fallen Moon could tell it was the leopard but why would he be in such pain and anguish? Rolling her eyes, Fallen Moon stands up and makes her way across the savannah, following her bloody tracks back to where the battle took place. I'm just giving myself a death sentence...She thinks gruffly to herself but she needed to know why this leopard was screeching...Maybe its from that scratch across the face I gave him. Oh my....that must be it! She thought, the revelation hitting her and making her screech to a halt. But she was already at the spot where the leopard had attacked her. "By the stars...." Fallen Moon gasped as she crouched in the grass, watching as the young leopard dug his claws into himself and ripped open gashes, making himself bleed out onto the ground. What is wrong with this cat? She thought, disturbed at what she was watching. It was like watching her mother bleed out on the savannah again from the scarred lion...horrifying. The fear and shock rooted Fallen Moon to her spot as she watched the young leopard begin to end his life....for whatever reason that was.

He stopped. He obeyed his mother. But, why did this cheetah come back. "Before I die... I... I..." He gasped for air. "I must say I'm sorry. For what I did." He said, his voice cracking, and weak. He rest his head down in the grass and took fast, short breaths. "It's my end, I cannot save myself. I must say I.. I am truly, deeply sorry for the pain I have caused." He told the cheetah. "What is.. is your.. name?" He asked, looking into her eyes.
