A large, golden figure jumped from rock to rock, a single tear dripping down her beautiful face, marred only by a long, red claw scratch over her right eye. She was agile and graceful when she leapt, but the tears that flowed from her eyes made her vision blurry and the slippery, wet rocks caused the female lioness to slip. Her claws scrabbled for purchase, but it was a futile attempt. A snarl came from her tawny gold maw as she fell to the rock, cutting a slight gash in her side. It would heal, but it would scar.
Leo winced as she saw her red, red blood flow freely from the wound on her side. What was I thinking? she vaguely thought, the salty tears dripping down on her nose and into the wound, making it sting and making her let out a low, pained cry. The lioness bent down to gingerly lick her side, the red blood matting her golden fur, streaking across her silky pelt to make it look almost like a sunset, golden mixed with red to make orange, glistening with tears. After the wound was tended to and most of the blood was licked out of her coat, Leo straightened up, running a paw over her face as if she could wipe the tears away. No crying. Bad Leo, she thought sternly.
So what if her mother didn't like her? So what if her father looked at her as if she had been proof he could make a hardcore warrior out of the lioness? So what if Whisper had always been the favorite in her mother's eyes, and that Leo had been more of a prize in her father's? So what if she was trained to be cold and mean and cruel. I do, she thought glumly. More tears dripped from her liquid gold eyes, but once again she brushed her face over with her paw, stopping the tears from coming.
Leo leaned over the rock tentatively, gazing into her reflection's eyes, those golden orbs she knew so well. Her father's eyes. Filled with disgust, Leo pulled back. It was nice to think that her eyes were not as full as hatred and malice as her father's.. But was it true? Was Leo better than her father, or was she the same? Did she have a heart of stone and a stubborn nature to go with it? Or was she, deep deep down, someone better? Someone better than her cold father? Yeah, it was nice to think she was different. But nagging doubt ate away at all the positive thoughts, such as Kindness, Justice, and Bravery, and replaced it with one: Liar. Was she lying to herself? Was she?
Once more the huge lioness leaned over to peer into the waters, praying for answers, finding none. But were the answers there? Lurking just beneath the surface, sparkling like diamonds, waiting for Leo to stick her paw in and fish them out? The lioness snorted. Those were foolish thoughts, thoughts that she should not be thinking. It wasn't that easy. If anyone should know that, it was her. It was that you had to work for something, and that rewards weren't just going to be handed out to the next feline.
That was what would happen in a dream. But that was that: dreams were just dreams! Wishes were just wishes, and no matter how much you wished, no matter how much you dreamed, it wouldn't just be given. Answers were what you sought? Then you should seek them. Leo lay down, wincing slightly as a trickle of blood escaped her fresh wound. She dipped her paw in the water, absentmindedly tracing a pattern. Ripples spread out, and Leo gazed into the depths, the roaring waterfall filling her ears. Were the answers there? Like sparkly watery diamonds, waiting for her? The pool was calm and still. There wasn't a better place to swim..
As if in a trance, Leo slipped into the water. The trance didn't last long. The moment her head slipped underwater she was clawing at the rocks, trying to get back up. She did so, and lay there, shaking on the rocks. Her hair was sticking to her, and her ears were flat against her head. What was she thinking? Oh, yes! She hadn't been!
A barely audible growl slipped from her maw and she lay down again, resting her head on her paws, closing her golden eyes, and she was drifted away. Drifted away to a place where her eyes were full of happiness, and diamond-like fish jumped and splashed in the water. A place where her family was reunited, and everyone was happy to see Leo. A place where dreams were possible, and were wishes came true.
"Hmmm..," she managed to mumble before sleep claimed her.

Sibul leaped down the rocks with agility that somebody so big shouldn’t have had, and hateful blood-colored eyes that surely weren’t natural. He glared down at the golden lioness snoring on the rocks nearest to water and immediately snarled at her, the low rumble building to a louder noise in his throat.
It was somewhere between a roar and a growl. He paused, noting how pretty the lioness was, and the fresh gash on her side, but he was born to kill, not to judge how pretty females were. Still, she was just so pretty. Sibul decided to lay off a bit, but swore to immediately ask for permission to execute her if she broke any laws if Ryuga didn’t get it first. Gosh, he hated Ryuga so much.

Oh the glorious day! How it was so wonderful and full of surprises! Like the butterfly that floated by overhead! A tawny lioness leaped through the long grasses, chasing after the butterfly that evaded her grasp at every turn. "Wait! Come back! I just wanna play with you! Don't be afraid!" The lioness gave one final leap before crashing down to the ground on her belly, minus one butterfly... "Aww..." Her ears lowered with sadness but immediately perked back up once a new idea came into her mind.
The lioness leaped to her feet, tail wagging happily as she charged through the grass. Who needed butterflies when she had beetles?! The lioness lowered her nose to the ground and rooted around for any bugs. She searched for a whole two minutes and found nothing. She was about to search another area when a rabbit shot by. Excitement shown in the tawny cat's eyes as she took off after the small animal. The lion was so absorbed in her chase that she failed to notice that the rabbit took off under a bush... A bush with very sharp thorns.
Umeme roared in pain as the thorns ripped through her tender nose, her eyes started to water and she wiped a paw across her face. "Ouchie...." Discouraged the lion walked off while licking her scratched nose. Soon she came upon a river with the sound of a waterfall crashing down and temporarily distracted from the pain of her wound she gazed in awe at the flowing water. "Cool..." A mumbling sound distracted her once more as she turned to see the golden form of another lioness. Her tail wagged as she trotted over to her fellow lioness and plopped down right beside her sleeping form. "Hiya! My name's Umeme! What's your name? Are you tired? Is that why you're laying down? Or is it 'cause you're bleeding? I wonder if I should lay down too... My nose kinda hurts like I'm sure your side does... Would laying down help it?" Not stopping to consider whether the other lioness would appreciate being woken up she spoke in her normal happy tone.

Sibul turned and glared down at the stupid little lioness. His sheer size and the glowering eyes would have been enough to make anyone else as small as this lioness run for their lives. "You are an irritating little flea, aren’t you?" he snarled, showing his sharp teeth at her. She was so annoying and talkative. Hopefully Syrakko would forgive him for an extra execution. It wasn’t even a law, so why not?
The giant didn’t attack though. Not just yet, which was very unlike him. “You ought to leave now. You’re going to get yourself killed." By me, he mused. He hoped that the almost crazy-seeming girl with not have the sense to leave so that he could have some blood. At least if he got in trouble for spilling some extra blood near the Siaubti territory, he’d have an excuse to get himself out of it.

A faint smile was on the lioness's face as she slept, so peaceful. It was a rare site to see, Leo being calm and peaceful. But in sleep, even the most angry beast is tranquil. Leo shifted her weight, pawing at the air slightly. Her dream was beautiful, and Leo was most annoyed when something cut through it. Who was that? Why were they here? And why were they so bloody happy?!
Another voice cut through her dream, this time it was the voice of a male. Well, now she knew for sure she wasn't dreaming. Leo shifted her weight again, pretending she was still asleep. The sun's rays bathed her tawny coat, highlighting the gold in it. If she was alone, she would've been perfectly happy to continue her little cat-nap. But no. She was being watched. Or, dare she say, stalked.. Leo was on the ground now, and two lions on their feet. First off, that was unfair. Yet when had she fought fair, goodness? Second, that meant she felt like prey. She was a lioness. She was Leo. She was meant to feel like the predator. Yet right now, she was the prey.
But not anymore. With lightning speed, she jumped to her feet, snarling and growling, ready to attack. Her posture was most definitely hostile, and if the male lion and the lioness couldn't get that, then her snarls would probably get the message through. Her golden eyes pierced into the others. Intimidating was her middle name. If not for her size, then she had a look and an aura around her that literally radiated authority and commanded respect. Grueling months of training had beaten that into her, and she was not going to let down her father. Anytime soon, at least.
For the first time since she sprang up, Leo studied her opponents. Okay, so they weren't attacking her. Yet. But everyone was considered an opponent until she knew better. Until then.. Leo inwardly winced, making sure that she didn't show an ounce of fear on the outside. Yes, she was large for lioness standards, and yes, she was a better fighter than most, but two lions? Seriously? Oh good lord, what have I done to deserve this? she thought bitterly, before continuing sizing up her opponents. The first one was a pretty little lioness, with bright blue eyes and a funny golden stripe on her back, the same color of Leo's fur. The female looked so darn... Happy. Happy? And the second one was a gigantic male lion, with.. red eyes. Red eyes. Satan reborn.
Against the female, Leo was pretty sure she could win. She was larger, and the other lioness looked oddly.. Not quite there, was what came to mind first. Against the male? Leo might have been able to hold him off for enough time to formulate an escape plan. But against bloody both? She might as well cut her own throat and save them the trouble! But a lioness with her training did not show fear. A lioness like her showed authority, power, and an unforgiving nature, with a horrible and brute-ish tendency to rip throats out first, ask questions later... Which was kind of what was in the male's eyes.
No. Fear was bad. Leo would not show fear. She would show anger at being woken up. Who knew that a lovely dream could turn into a nightmare so quickly? Her muscles tense, ready to charge and attack, and her lips curved in a silent snarl, she spoke slowly and furiously. "Who are you, and why in the bloody world did you wake me up?" she growled, her golden eyes flashing a challenge to the other lions. So, they thought they could sneak up and take her down? Ha! Well, my 'friends', she thought, you have another thing coming.
OOC: Yeah, lol, beasty love. And I can't wait for Leo to get to know Ume better. After Ume speaks, Leo will be all, "What the heck?" Hilarious.

"Speaking!" Sibul turned back to the female with just as much agility and nearly grinned at her words. Nearly. He snarled at her, which he felt was the right thing to do in just about any situation. His eyes were whispered deathly memories and that he wouldn’t hesitate to kill her if she disrespected him. Just keep amusing me to stay alive, he seemed to say to her without speaking a word.
He watched as the lioness sized him up, golden eyes scanning Sibul’s build quickly. "Think you can beat me, hm? Think again, female. Even if you did manage to hold me off, I have a friend around here who’s twice as large as a normal lion and would gladly execute you in a second," he snarled threateningly, teeth flashing wickedly. Anyone would be able to tell that he wasn’t bluffing.
Sibul didn’t even need to think about her question. To him, it was just silly. "Oh, silly lion. I’ll do what I want. Just like you chose to sleep, I have chosen to awaken you from your sleep." he said simply, rolling his blood red eyes, which looked quite strange, as if to say, duh.
OOC: Yes, and Sibul would have the same confused reaction, then snap out of it and possibly attempt to push her into the water. XD Sorry Ume, you just happened to end up with some really mean lions.

What a dreadful bore. Not far from the waterfall, a great leopard treaded upon the decaying earth of the forest, cold blue eyes kept in a constantly narrowed stare as one massive paw after another was placed infront of him. The goings on in the Siaubti clan was little to none. Not many trespassers, and those who were ran at first glance of Ryuga. Besides the hunting, the leopard had not gotten his fill of blood for almost an entire moon cycle, which caused him to grow very anxious. The only way to calm him from going on a rampant killing spree was by hunting prey that the rest of the tribe of felines would eat. Ryuga tended to be good about controlling himself, but these days he was becoming impatient. The pile of prey caught was growing and most was going to waste. Until he got his claws on something that was more...fiesty, more intellegent, Ryuga was a walking nuclear bomb. Ryuga was pleasantly impressed by the turnout of cats who wished to join the Siaubti: that deeply annoying cheetess Fallere, who was now of equal status as Ryuga, and the newest, most entertaining member, Sibul. Just the mere mention of his name made the leopard smirk. The large male lion had been appointed as Dux Fighter as soon as he was accepted by Syrakko, and Ryuga couldn't have been anymore pleased. True, his blood red eyes and almost monstrous size would send any other creature fleeing for their lives, believing they had just seen the devil's spawn. But Ryuga was still yet larger, stronger, and, most importantly, in a command over the pathetic lion. He knew that Sibul hated the leopard with a passion because he was better and bigger, and Ryuga took ever oppurtinuty to remind him that he was in charge and wouldn't dare to touch Syrakko's right-hand-man. The fury poured from the lion out in waves each time they met eyes and Ryuga swore he could see smoke plumming from Sibul's golden ears. "Who are you, and why in the bloody world did you wake me up?" "Oh, silly lion. I’ll do what I want. Just like you chose to sleep, I have chosen to awaken you from your sleep." That was Sibul's voice countering another lion, a tresspasser. Finally, things become interesting. Ryuga thought to himself as the growls and snarls poured from the area of the waterfall, veering off to his left and quickening his pace as he ripped through the undergrowth. Soon enough, he came upon the scene of bickering. Perfectly concealed in the shadows of the shrubs, Ryuga watched with icey blue slits and crouched low. There on the rocks was actually three lions, one female with a nasty scar over her eye who was actually quite intimidating as she stood snarling infront of Sibul, who was stupidly shooting remarks. Another lioness, seeming to be totally confused and oblivious to the danger around her sat with wide eyes watching the two. Ryuga shook his head and rolled his cold hard eyes at the male lion's actions and such. It was stupid not to mention pathetic for him to be testing this female's patience and temper. Even the great leopard could tell she was a great fighter from the scars marring her golden pelt and the wild, fierce look in her eyes. A spark of admiration lit and then quickly blew out in Ryuga's heart; For the lioness of course, not that mange-pelt, Sibul. Even though Ryuga would love to have clawed the tail off the lioness and her friend as he chased them out of the Siaubti territory but the killer had learned to use patience and discernment now that he was in a group. More members were desperatly needed and chasing off or killing every trespasser that walked in would not raise the numbers. As a Dux, it was Ryuga's responsiblity to oversee those under him and ensure that the tribe would live on. Apparently, the Dux Fighter here wasn't doing much more than entertaining himself before attempting to slay the lioness. Tsk, tsk Sibul. You should know better. Just another thing to report against you to Captain Syrakko....Wait, what's this? Ryuga perked, senses coming alive and claws beginning to burn at what he now smelt and saw. Blood. Dripping from a gash on the scarred lioness's pelt, the sweetly-sour tasting, dark-red liquid hit the rocks and ran in a scarlet river. It took all of Ryuga's self-control to hold himself back from rushing forward and taking down the lioness himself, the very sight of the precious liquid exciting the great leopard and making him salavate, that blood-lust almost taking him over. But he kept himself in place, rooting himself to the earth with his long, dark claws and awaiting for a time to come out in the open and figuring out how to end this all.

Oh. My. God! Leo thought angrily. If this stupid lion didn't back off, he would end up with a scar to match her's. "Execute me in a second? Oh dear! I'm trembling, can't you see?" she asked him, her voice dripping with sarcasm. Yes, maybe sarcasm wasn't the best choice, but who was Leo to go against sarcasm? It had served her well for three years. She was sure it could work in her favor in one last scuffle.
Oh dear.. But if the brute was telling the truth, about a friend the size of two normal lions... But what animal could be that bloody big? An elephant? The thought was amusing, but for the life of her Leo couldn't think of an animal that was twice her size! And how was she supposed to fight against this male, the other huge animal, and this... Odd little lioness.
Leo had the urge to wave a paw in front of the other female, just to make sure she was paying attention, but she then repressed the urge. Though it would be interesting...
The huge, golden female turned back to the male, who was now speaking again. Oh, he chose to wake her up? Noo, really? she thought sarcastically, her golden orbs staring into his red ones angrily.
"Oh, you chose to wake me up? Like I couldn't see that before. But seeing as we are on the topic of choices, let me make this clear. If you don't back off, buddy, I will choose to claw you!" the golden lioness snarled at him, her half-tail swishing behind her in the air, claws digging into the grooves on the rock. Obviously she was angry, and obviously, if the lion kept pushing her, she would snap. And most likely take her built up anger out on the male in front of her.
A rustle in a bush near the odd trio made Leo turn her head, but she saw nothing. An unfamiliar scent was briefly caught by her, before the wind shifted. She hadn't got enough to tell what the animal was, but Leo tensed, rolled back her shoulders, and twitched her ear toward the source of the tiny rustle. Yes, something was there. The question was, What?
OOC: And then there were four...

Sibul grinned at her. Okay, so he had been exaggerating a bit about Ryuga when he said that he was twice the size of a normal lion, but that description was close enough. He was about the right size to take down a giraffe, perhaps even an elephant, by himself, which were both very tough and large animals.
"Claw me, you say? Perhaps my bloodthirsty friend over there would do the same to you, and I don’t know how much you can do with that gash on your side," he mused out loud, forcing out the word ‘friend’ and glaring at the bushes, waiting for his “friend” to come out and play.
After a few more seconds of glowering at the bush which had moved, the one where he knew Ryuga was hiding behind, just managing to not jump out and kill this stupid lioness, and was hesitating for reasons unknown. Sibul saw the moment’s flash of hesitation in the lioness’ golden eyes. "Yes, yes, backing off may be wise right now, " he said, still staring with annoyance yet anticipation.
OOC: Yes, Ume’s happy soul ended up with some very, very evil cats…
Also, Siaubti has only claimed Nyasi Cave and not Gengi Falls, so Leo isn’t really trespassing. XD

"Claw me, you say? Perhaps my bloodthirsty friend over there would do the same to you, and I don’t know how much you can do with that gash on your side." Ryuga rolled his eyes once again in annoyance, not even caring that all of the cats there now knew he was hiding within the bushes thanks to that big-mouthed fool. Deciding it now the time to reveal himself, the giant leopard rose up from the ground and walked out of the bushes into the open, claws still partially out as he tried to control himself against the strong smell of the lioness's blood. Icy blue eyes dialated almost completely to slits as he approached the three lions, almost getting between Sibul and the fierce scarred lioness.
Ryuga allowed a pleased rumble to escape his throat as he stopped just feet from the two snarling lions, noticing he was as tall if not taller than them and was able to look them all in the eyes, warm gold meeting hard, callous ice. "Oh, Sibul, why is it you can never seem to handle situations like this by yourself? You have paws dont you? Then learn to stand on them on your own without me having to be by your side constantly to hold you up." Ryuga said in a reprimanding tone as he swung his spotted head to Sibul, blue eyes looking between bored and exasperated. The leopard had a feeling he was going to enjoy humiliating this bee-brained male infront of two females, knowing well that Sibul wouldn't dare to lash out at him for even he knew the consequences of such actions, some of which would not have to be from Captain Syrakko. "My apologizes on behalf of my companion. He has a tendency to open his maw first before actually thinking. Do not mind him for he is all roar and no bite, unless of course he is acting particurally foolish." Ryuga spoke in his low, rumbling voice, choosing his words and tone carefully as he had learned from traveling with Syrakko so as not to threaten the lioness further or cause her to become more agitated, his cold eyes looking from the bloody lioness to Sibul with that same, almost bored look. The great leopard decided to go forth with his plan to try and convince this powerful looking, sharp-tongued lion to join the Siaubti. One like her would be a great asset to the group; She was practically fearless, brave, strong, even her appearance seemed generally threatening, not that Ryuga felt threatened at all but he assumed others would find the lioness as such. Besides, any animal that had the courage to face the red-eyed Sibul and snarl at him seemed enough for Ryuga, which would be good enough for Captain Syrakko as well. The smell of blood was overwelming and Ryuga almost got caught staring at the slice on the lioness's flank, but he managed to push away the desire for more free-flowing blood on his claws and tongue with the almost equally strong desire to humiliate Sibul infront of ones other than those in the group. Sibul felt a low rumble rise in his throat, but there was hot rush to his cheeks, for he felt no embarrassment at Ryuga’s words. Only annoyance. The large lion would want nothing more than to kill the Dux, just to get him out of the way, but it wasn’t time yet… Sibul was still biding his time, waiting until he was in his prime. He was still young, and although had a large frame and large muscles, he knew it wasn’t enough.
“Thank you for that lovely speech, now if you aren’t going to do anything, it would be lovely for you to leave,” he said with a genuinely pleasant tone that thinly veiled the guile inside him. It was a tone that he frequently used with Ryuga because he couldn’t get angry at him, but putting the anger underneath. It was frequently used by Sibul to communicate only with the adversary, and for them to get the message that he was straining to hold himself back. He stared into the leopard’s eyes, seeming to be absolutely relaxed, thought his face had a steely look about it.
OOC: Okay, good point there, but since Nyasi Cave is IN Gengi Falls, They wouldn’t really be trespassing unless they actually went into the Caves… I think…
Sibul’s all like: “Only cowards feel embarrassment. I’m not a coward! I’ll take over the world and make Ryuga my slave! MWUAHAHA!” Of course, the last part isn’t possible because Ry would end up killing him at some point, but Sibul might grow larger than him… at least, that’s what he believes.
